As soon as you start up the stairs – you hear the beat of the music, and you start getting excited!
My husband and I started to take lessons a little over a year ago. We had no formal dance experience. We took group lessons to get a taste of all the different dance styles that helped us meet more “wanna-be” dancers. It was a great experience. The instructors are all very nice and patient. We always have a lot of laughs when we are dancing which makes the “learning to dance” a lot easier because a lot of the time we are laughing at ourselves.
I can’t say enough about the entire staff at Chicago Dance. They have always been very kind, helpful and accommodating. We enjoy every minute we are here and highly recommend you come here to learn to dance. It’s something I always wanted to do – just wish I had done it sooner.

New Student Orientation Parties
You are taking a group class. You've learned a few steps. You've met some great people. Now come experience a social dancing event without all the pressure of being the only new kid at the party.
You'll pick up some basic social dance etiquette, some great tips on leading and following, what to do with limited dance space and much, much more!
With teachers present, and some familiar faces, you're sure to be at ease while you're putting your new dance skills to the test.
At the Orientation Parties:
You will experience a safe and comfortable party environment where you can use the moves you are working.
You will enjoy a guided experience through what you can expect from your first party or club experience
You will have a structured format to help you make that transition from the dance school to the dance club a breeze
At a later date, you will even get to go to a real dance club with other people you've met at Chicago Dance. This takes the stress out of not knowing anyone in a new place. These outings are always a fun and exciting experience you won't want to miss!
New Student Orientation Parties are included free with your registration for specific level 1 & 2 classes (rollover the classes to see if the orientation party is included):
